Midajah Spencer
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #165446
Welcome! I’m Midajah, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist located in Irvine, CA. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of La Verne and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
My approach is rooted in deep respect for each individual’s unique story and I bring an open curiosity to explore how early relationships and past experiences may influence present-day challenges.
Therapy should be a collaborative journey and you are invited to explore your inner world at a pace that feels right for you. My work is grounded in attachment-based and psychodynamic theories, and I incorporate other evidence-based interventions such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to fit your individual needs and goals.
I provide a non-judgmental, compassionate space that invites you to be curious about all parts of you, including the parts that have been silenced, shamed, and buried away. Each part has a unique story worthy of being explored with curiosity and compassion.
Together, we can connect to your internal wisdom, values, and strengths to move toward meaningful change.
